Terms of Service

Effective September 8, 2026.

These terms govern the Realmroot website at realmroot.dev and the official hosted identity, authorization, and capability-discovery service at id.realmroot.dev. By using these services, you agree to these terms.

These terms do not govern third-party deployments of Realmroot. Their operators are responsible for their own terms and data practices. Other products and external services may have separate terms.

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is processed when you visit the website or use the official hosted service.

You may use Realmroot to authenticate people, applications, and AI Agents; to connect external provider accounts; and to request and exercise delegated authority. You are responsible for the actions performed through your account, Applications, Agents, and provider connections.

You must not use Realmroot to violate law, bypass access controls, interfere with the service, probe other users’ data, distribute malware, or misrepresent an Agent’s authority. You must request only the scopes needed for a legitimate task and promptly revoke access that is no longer needed.

Provider services, including Cloudflare, are governed by their own agreements. Realmroot does not control provider availability, API behavior, consent decisions, or enforcement. Connecting a provider authorizes Realmroot to use the granted OAuth credentials only to fulfill authorized requests.

You can stop using the service, revoke Agent grants and sessions, and disconnect external provider connections through the account controls. Revoking access does not undo actions already performed or delete information already received by an external application or provider. Those services handle that information under their own policies.

The hosted service is provided on an as-available basis and may change as the project evolves. We may suspend access needed to protect users, providers, or the service. Material changes to these terms will be published on this page with a new effective date.

Realmroot’s open-source software is separately licensed under Apache-2.0. These terms apply to the hosted service and do not replace the license terms for the source code.
